Frank Modugno. Beloved husband of the late Lydia Modugno (nee D’Alessandro); loving father of Donald (Aida) Modugno, Victor Modugno, Carla (Michael) Zubricki, and John Modugno; devoted papa of Nicholas, Michael, Joey, Brianna, Alyssa, Mark, Catie, Alex, Juliana, Reese, Mia, Maxx, and Luke; dear brother-in-law of Teresa Helfand and the late Tina Amariti, the late Maria Augelli, and the late Tony D’Alessandro; fond uncle of many nieces and nephews; cherished cousin and friend of many. Our dad passed away peacefully, leaving us with some beautiful memories. Though we’ll miss him dearly, it’s comforting to know he’s with our mom. We don’t think the timing of his passing during Thanksgiving weekend, just like my mom’s, is a coincidence. Since my mom’s passing, we have had the tradition of having a shot of limoncello in her honor. We would all think of her, how special she was, and how much she meant to us. We think in some ways our dad wanted to be part of that tradition. Our Thanksgiving tradition will continue, but with my dad now part of it. Cheers to our Dad and 92 years! Rest in peace, Dad, we love you.
