George D. Michalski, age 68, passed away Thursday, June 2, 2022 at his home in Glendale Heights. George is a retired diesel mechanic, an avid golfer, and an all-around character. He is survived by his loving wife Rhonda (nee Weissenhofer); children Samantha (Roger) Planas and Tami (Kevin) Harnist; brothers Michael (Karen), Steven (Patricia), Ed (Martha), and Brian (Linda) Michalski; grandchildren Sarah, Amy, and Enzo Planas; and numerous nieces and nephews. George is preceded in death by his parents George C. and Rose Michalski. George’s memorial service will take place on Friday, June 17 from 3-8pm (eulogies at 6:30pm) at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel, 450 W Lake St. in Roselle. For info (630) 889-1700.
