Ostrega of Roselle, age 58; Loving husband of Cynthia A. nee: Novelle; Loving Dad of Jocelyn and Evan; Loving son of the late Matthew and Alice Ostrega; Dear brother of Gary (Gail), Karen (Ron) Woyach and Mary (Paul) O’Brien; Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. John was a career Firefighter and Paramedic for over 25 years. He was also a Fire Inspector for the cites of Wood Dale, Lombard and Niles. John taught countless students to become Paramedics. John was avid outdoorsman and loved riding his Harley. Formal Fireman Honors on Thursday evening.
