Beloved husband of the late Louise (nee Urban); devoted father of Dian (Frank) Palmer, Beverly (Ray) Hatfield, Ken (Louise); dear grandfather of Dana (Vinnie) Singla, Christy Hatfield, Jorie Palmer, Sheri (Brian) Qualizza, Brian (Catie) Hatfield; great-grandfather of Paige, Brandon, Brooke, Jillian, Mackenzie. Funeral Saturday, 8:30 a.m. from Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle to St. Isidore Church, for Mass at 9:30 a.m. Interment St. Joseph Cemetery. Visitation Friday, 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations to the American Cancer Society .
