Iam going to Miss you Dad you were my hero I learned alot from you.always taught me to be respectful towards people , especially family members are most important,I remember was I was a little girl you would take me to melrose park and go visiting to all family members and drink coffee and talk and talk and drink more coffee, and everyone would feed us where ever we would go, and all the feast days that we had gone to auntie Lola house with all my cousins and go to the feast and win stuff and just being with family that is what you dad love to do and that is why we know and love our family members cause you were always teaching us talking us on family vacations or just getting in the car and go for a long ride.you taught me stuff just by talking to you .we had a lot of fun and I want to say having you for my father has made me a better person I will miss you so much all the window visits and phone calls at wheel of fortune time of the day I love you Daddy RIP

His Journey's Just Begun...Don't think of him as gone away - his journey's just begun, life holds so many facets - this earth is only one. Just think of him as resting from the sorrows and the tears in a place of warmth and comfort where there are no days and years. Think how he must be wishing that we could know today how nothing, but our sadness can really pass away. And think of him as living in the of those he touched...for nothing loved is ever lost - and he was loved so much. Pops a true warrior! wonderful husband, great dad! outstanding Grandpa! I will truly miss his stories, kindness and loving heart. We have gained another Angel! whose name is Mario! Which we will hold close to our hearts. My dearest friend Roseann Marie, I am sending you my love and strength in your time of sorrow. May his soul, through the mercy of God, Rest in Peace+

I will always remember the parties that were going on weekly. There was at least a Birthday party or several of them. Baptism, or Holy Communion and Confirmation and many other Catholic holidays like St Joseph’s day. Then the wedding showers, baby showers and every so often there was funeral too. My fondest memories are when we had the Christmas Parties the rented halls we were in because no one had a big enough house to have 60 or 70 relatives. I remember we put on the Christmas Nativity story. The preparation of the cookies, our father and mother must have made thousands of cookies over their lifetime together. There were the birds, the Cucidati Fig Cookies, spice cookies, Pizzelles and they were made for all these parties and weddings. The biggest thing I learned from all of this how they all interacted with each other. When you come from a family of 8 these family get togethers became events. Some of these occasions where all my aunt’s uncles and cousins were together, they were arguments. Sometimes over the what was said or who didn’t like the way we were setting the tables up for a party. They all had their opinions or disagreements and got angry and had it out verbally. They always seem to hug and make up. There was not always a lot of money but there was joy and a sense of family. I will miss you dad, the calls on the phone, the calls on Zoom. We will remember you for who you were and the dad that treated Pete Cardiasmenos, like my husband. We will both miss you, every time on the phone you always asked how’s Pete. You knew who we were and told Pete his hair got gray. You were very aware to the very end. I have more to say to you, and will continue to pray for you while you transition into your spiritual body. You have quite a group of ancestors waiting for you. Goodbye and goodnight for now I have a few more things to express. May your memory be eternal, you live in me.
