Mary Christine Costello Tuozzo was born in Abbyfeale, Limerick Ireland January 1, 1945 (79)

to Catherine and Patrick Costello. Chriss (as she was commonly referred to) was one of three

girls, and she was the oldest of her sisters Rena (Catherine) and Eileen (Helen). Chriss passed

peacefully in her home in Tennessee surrounded by loving family.

When Chriss was about 4, Patrick left for America to set up a place of better opportunity for

the family. A few years later, her and her Mother would head to America to finish setting up

residency and soon after, Rena and Eileen would join them after being in England with their

  grandparents for a while.

They lived in Chicago, and after her father passed it was just the three girls and their Mother.

She worked at St Anne’s as did the other girls where their Mom worked as a nurse.

Chriss married and had two boys, Patrick and Larry. She loved her boys fiercely until her last

day on Earth and beyond. She had a strong sense of family, and was so willing to help and

support her family any way she could.

Chriss moved through many changes in life and worked for a food distribution company for

many years She met her great love Ron in the late 90’s and they were married in 1998. They

enjoyed life together, traveling, friends, family, dining out, social gatherings, and more. They

loved each other dearly and moved to Tennessee almost 5 years ago to retire in their forever

  home.

Chriss was a sweet, loving person with a smile always and a great sense of humor. In her

younger years, she enjoyed dancing, sewing, cooking and was always organized. Chriss was

strong and independent while being the most kind hearted and giving person. She is very loved

  and will be missed dearly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Ron Tuozzo, her mother and father Catherine

and Patrick, her sister Eileen, her nephew Michael, and many beloved family members and

  friends.

She is survived by her sons Patrick (Natalie) and Larry. She is also survived by her sister

Rena (Catherine), her Grandsons Brendan and Kyle, her nieces Marie and Kathleen, her

nephews Eddie and Brian, and many cousins, friends and family members.

May Chriss be in eternal peace with our Father and rejoice in being reunited in Heaven

with all who have gone before her.
