Kontos age 69 of Elgin, Loving daughter of the late Nick and Julia Kontos; Loving sister of Gus (Athena) and Irene (George) Arsoniadis; Dear aunt of Alayna, Nick (Virginia), Elliot and Juliana (Angelo); great aunt to Isabella, Nicholas and Zoe. Family and friends are asked to meet Saturday at St. Sophia Greek Orthodox Church 525 Church Rd. Elgin, IL. where Mary will lie in state 11:30 a.m until time of Service at 12 Noon. Interment River Valley Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation Friday 3:00-8:00 p.m. with a Trisagion Service at 5:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.). For info 630-889-1700 or www.salernofuneralhomes.com.
