Mike and I recently talked on the phone about “the good old days” and growing up together in Leyden Township, Illinois and all the fun we had at Scott School and West Leyden. Those are the memories of my good friend Mike that I will cherish forever. We were both hopeful that we would soon be able to get together for lunch or dinner during my next trip to Chicagoland. God had other plans. My prayers go out to Mike’s family, especially to his sisters Susan and Diane. I miss you Mike. Rest In Peace my friend and thank you for your service.

My Dear Big Brother Mikey, I'll bet your long-awaited reunion with your loving wife Diane was a joyous occasion. I so badly wish I could hug, kiss and talk to you one more time but I know I will see you again when my time on Earth is up. Meanwhile, I imagine you'll be smoking the best with Marley & Lennon, and enjoying a front row seat to their Heavenly performances - just for you & Diane. And who knows? Maybe Mickey & Mary will join you there. You know I love you. Always, Little Toots
