Nancy Zorn (nee Kozacek), 80, dedicated wife to Fred for 52 years, passed away early Friday morning, December 13, 2024 from natural causes. She was loving mother to Matthew Zorn, grandmother to Kaileigh and Carter Sargent, sister to James (Julie) Kozacek, aunt to Kim (Steve) Ward, Tracy (Scott) Jannenga, and Mike (Louise) Kozacek. She was preceded in death by daughter Jennifer (John) Sargent and parents Anthony and Camille Kozacek. She will be missed by family and many lifelong friends. Nancy was born in Chicago on July 11, 1944. She attended Downers Grove North High School
and Eastern Illinois University, where she earned a degree in accounting. She worked at the J. Huell Briscoe accounting firm for her entire professional career. Nancy was incredibly intelligent and very kind to those who knew her. She loved word games and puzzles and had an impressive Cherished Teddies collection. Nancy also enjoyed gardening, plants, crafting, and taking photos. Fred and Nancy took their children and grandchildren outdoor camping. The family often traveled to the Tennessee mountains, Myrtle Beach, and Disney World. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the cancer foundation of your choice.
