Robert Mendralla

Robert (Bob) Mendralla age 86, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2016. Beloved husband of Carmen (Jornd/Bellanca); Adored father of Linda (Gary) Hodge and Robert, Jr. (Debbie); Stepfather of Robert Jornd and Luanne (Anthony) Kaspar; Loving grandfather of Kelly (Mark) Hasty, Michael (Jennifer) Hodge, Matthew (Meredith) Hodge, Michael (Stephanie) Jornd, Melissa, Katlyn, Amanda, Brandon, Anthony, Nicholas, Chris Jahn and Kelly (Mike) Kuras; great grandfather of Hailey, Alyssa, Lilianna and Kayden; and fond brother of William and the late Leonard Mendralla. Bob worked at Wilson Sporting Goods as a golf club designer for 57 years. He was known as a Master Craftsman designing golf clubs for Touring Pros, Professional Athletes, Celebrities and U.S. Presidents. Two of his greatest accomplishments were being inducted into the Illinois PGA Hall of Fame and into the Club Makers Society Hall of Fame. He was always proud to have served in the Korean War. Visitation will be Friday 3:00-9:00 p.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.).
