Vita “Dolly” Zatto (nee Corrado), Beloved Wife of the late Donald “Ducky”; Devoted Mother of Vito (Tootsie), Michael (Janet) and Donna (Michael) Mendes; Dear Sister of the late Geraldine (Joseph) Silvio and James (Barbara) Corrado; Loving Grandma of Brenna (Brenden), Anthony, Joseph, Tommy, Ashley, Tyler and Rachel; Dear Aunt and Cousin of many.
Vita’s first career was a phone operator and she eventually became a lunch lady at the local junior high school. She also made the best cannolis for Mayna’s Pizzeria.
She played many sports including softball, bowling and even volleyball. She loved watching the Cubs and playing cards.
She made many memorable friendships as a member of TOPS in Addison and stayed active attending trips with the Seniors Program at the Addison Park District.
Vita was a very special woman whose greatest joy in life was being a loving wife, amazing mother and wonderful grandmother.
Funeral Wednesday, family and friends are invited to gather 9:30 a.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) to St. Joseph Church. Mass 10:30 a.m. Interment Mt. Emblem Cemetery.
