Antonio Salerno, Age 85. Beloved husband of Josephine (nee Perna). Devoted father of Dino (Adriana), Lisa (Charles) Jurkus and Robert (Nicole) Salerno. Loving son of the late Rosario and Francesca Salerno. Adored nonno of Dionna, Anthony, Alyssa, Michael, Olivia, Antonio, Alexa, Robert and GianLuca. Dear brother of the late Vince (late Ida), the late Arnie (late Francesca), the late Joseph (Marie) and the late Adam (Isabella). Cherished brother in law of Connie (Frank) Conforti, Marie (John) Parisi, JoAnne (Sandy) Palaoro and Mario (Tracey) Perna. Dear uncle of many nieces and nephews. Antonio was born on August 26, 1939 in Cosenza Italy. He came to America with his family to make a better life. He married the love of his life Josephine on August 29, 1964 and they proceeded to have three beautiful children And nine wonderful grandkids. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He taught many valuable life lessons, and encouraged everyone to pursue their own dreams and passions, He loved golfing, especially with his kids and his grandkids. He was the glue to the family and always wanted to be together. His passion for family and large celebrations made his personality larger than life. He will be missed dearly and always in our hearts.The Salerno family would appreciate flowers or memorial donations to be sent to The National Kidney Foundation .

Dear Josephine, Dino, Lisa and Rob, Please accept our sincere condolences the passing of your husband and father. we enjoyed the time spent with Tony on the golf course and times spent with the family at the home in Arizona, it was always a pleasurable occasion to be with Tony and the family. There are no words to express how sad we are to hear of Tony’s passing. The affection, kindness, generosity and humour he demonstrated and shared with us whenever we were fortunate enough to get together with him and Josephine will always be remembered and cherished. We were fortunate enough to meet Tony along with his beautiful family a few years ago. Although it was only for a few days, his friendly warmth and smile will be remembered forever. Condolences to Josephine and all the family. RIP Tony. Loris & Lisa
