I was deeply saddened to hear about the sudden passing of Barb. She was a kind and lovely soul. I'll always remember her infectious smile. Growing up together during our Sayre School years...we quickly bonded as "Italians" and became good friends. We also loved sports and Barb was a gifted athlete. She was a lefty, which served her well playing volleyball and softball. She remained calm and unnerved ..even in the mostly hotly contested games. Win or lose..she was always a great sport. My sincere condolences to her family for such a tragic loss. May it comfort her loved ones to know that she touched many lives in a positive way. Wishing you comfort and peace in this time of sadness. My regret is not maintaining contact with Barb thru the years..but my fond memories of her will live on always

I am so saddened to hear of Barbara’s tragic accident. We were friends from 6th grade through high school. I will always remember her warm smile and laughter. She was a good friend, even though we lost touch after I moved out of state 40 plus years ago. We had a special bond in that we shared our birthdays. If I am not mistaken, I believe we were even born in the same hospital on the same day. I was so looking forward to reconnecting at what I am hoping would be our 50th grammar school reunion next year. She will be missed. Sending prayers to her family and friends. Rest In Peace Barbara.

I’m so very sorry. I went to Sayre with Barbara and she was a fun, smart, pretty girl, and a good athlete. Barbara was kind to everyone, and everyone liked her. She was never mean or catty, the way some girls could be at that age. She was kind, and a good friend. Barbara called me recently, to discuss our upcoming 50th grade-school reunion. It was important to her that we didn’t let the anniversary go by without commemorating it. I’m grateful that she connected with me and her memory will love on through her daughter that meant so much to her.

My memories of Barb growing up are of a fun, good-natured adventurous spirit who was beautiful inside and out. She had a great sense of humor and loved to laugh. A kind, caring and respectful daughter, she would make any parent proud. She adored her older brothers. Although we lost touch long ago, I have heard through friends that her proudest moment was having her loving daughter Rena. Rena was dedicated to her mother’s emotional support and well-being. I am sure Barbara was both comforted and grateful by her selfless devotion. My thoughts are with the family as they mourn such a tragic and sudden loss. I share their sadness and send healing prayers. Rest in peace Barb.
