1 John 4:16 God is love, and all who live in love live in God, and God lives in them. God is love, and he who abides in love abides in God, and God in him. When filled with God's love, we can do and see and understand things that we could not otherwise do or see or understand. Filled with His love, we can endure pain, quell fear, forgive freely, avoid contention, renew strength, and bless and help others in ways surprising even to us! Love is trusting in our God, love is being faithful to your partner and families, and love is being kind and patient with the world around you "The love that comes from God is everlasting, everywhere and is faithful." Agape love is an unconditional love without any attachment. It is also known as selfless love. This is the type of love God has for mankind My Dad expressed agape love to my family as well as many people in this world! Not only did he expressed his love but he taught others to love. When you LOVE you LIVE! Do as my dad; this will make you and him smile. Love others, live life and make memories last a lifetime! He will live in our hearts forever!

You have taught me to have fun, enjoy life, and make wonderful memories. I lost an important person in my life this week. God blessed me with an awesome father in law, if I hadn’t married kristie I would never have be able to find a father like you. I don’t have enough words to express how much I am grateful to you for welcoming me in your family with so much love. You raised a great family And I am lucky to be part of it! I learned from you how to be an impressive person and a good human being. Your presence in my life will always be appreciated. You were more like an inspiration, a teacher, an icon. Thank you for being such a perfect father-in-law. There is no way to replace the space in which you occupied. Your quiet presence will be greatly missed. Not being able to ask you what’s the right thing to do in any confusing situation will never be replaceable. You just had a way of helping us make the right decisions, on our own, with a few words. And you encourage us when when we had doubts. I just want to thank you for being the the best father to us all. We are truly blessed!

Dad I am so blessed to have the BEST father in the world! Every since I was a little girl I admired YOU! You always worked to provide an AMAZING life for our family! You made it a priority EACH day to express your LOVE whether it was a few minutes or many hours you made me feel SPECIAL! I could rely on YOU to make me LAUGH, receive PRICELESS ADVICE , have FUN and be HAPPY! Making memories is an important part of living life! Money can come, go and always be made but TIME is precious! Your presence was so comforting. Time with you was important to me and unfortunately it was cut short. As my heart is broken, I will replay ALL the BEAUTIFUL memories with you and SMILE! Thank you for your encouragement, for believing in me, being my mentor, the trips to Hawaii, Vegas, Cabo San Lucas, attending Cubs games where our seats we on the Cubs Dugout, going to Fenway Park to see the Cubs play, attending the Cubs World Series Parade, experiencing delicious food together, loving our family with ALL your heart, and giving MOM 51 WONDERFUL years of marriage! There are are so many MORE memories to relive and it’s all because of YOU! I will always have a twinkle in my eyes when I think of YOU! Having you in the WORLD made a HUGE difference in MANY lives! I look forward to seeing you in heaven! You will always live in my heart. Thank you God for giving me the BEST dad ever! May your memory be external. Love you forever, Your daughter Kristie

There exists no word to adequately express the appreciation, gratitude and respect I have for Dene. His insights changed my life....in fact, with his help, I transitioned from mere existence to living. Deepest condolences to Nancy. I am hugging you in my heart, and holding you up in prayer.
