Frank touched our lives in so many special ways. He was incredibly kind to our mother and she loved Frank & Rose. Frank got to watch my kids grow up over the years and always remembered their names. Frank was one of the true characters of Our Lady of Pompeii and that's an impressive crowd! Sunday Mass at Our Lady of Pompeii will seem so different without Frank in those front pews. The community has lost a truly original guy. Meatballs for me and my kids may never be the same! Thank you Frank for touching my life and my family's life and Rose, thank you for sharing Frank with us for so many years! With sadness and happiness, The Belmonte's

Papa Frank, you treated me like a daughter from the moment we met. We became part of your family. You told me about your life in Italy from a young boy to a man and moving here to America. You were a fascinating person! One of a kind! I will never forget you, your kindness and love. May God rest your soul in Heaven. Our lives are better because you were in it. I will keep your memory alive through my daughter. Love, Cleo, Fabio and Alexia

My deepest condolences to Rosa and the Rappa family. Amen

Like A Lion! Good morning Sara, Rosa, Al and Maria, So sad to hear about Frank. Your family is in our prayers and thoughts today. Although I only knew him for the last 10 years he was a very important and influential part of our lives. A living history book! We learned so much of our culture and heritage from him. 1 day of school, working at 8 years old can you even imagine? I am so glad I got to see him on his birthday and bring him his favorite cigars. I always enjoyed morning coffee with him and sitting in the garage and patio on a nice morning, it was like being in Italy. Our church family will never be the same. Many times when I would help him with cooking his generosity was overwhelming and he would always insist I take food home when I would ask if I could pay him” No talk about money “was his reply! So we always had gravy and chicken in the freezer. To this day whenever I make gravy and breaded chicken I always make enough for several meals and we freeze the rest, and it is always known as “Franks chicken”. So when we are short on time and I ask Donna what we should do for diner she will say “ Let’s just do Franks chicken” So he will always live in our house and memory. How you feelin today Frank?…..”Like a Lion!” Love, and Prayers Dennis & Donna DeRosa
