Mantis, 81, Born in Achladokampos, Greece; Beloved wife of Bessie (nee Karamanoy); Devoted father of Elaine (Dennis) Nowak and Tom Karamanoy; Cherished grandfather of Katrina Nowak; Preceded in death by 4 brothers; Dearest uncle, cousin and friend of many here and Greece. Visitation, Wednesday, November 18, 2020 from 9:30 a.m. until time of Funeral service 10:30 a.m. at Transfiguration of Our Lord Savior Greek Orthodox Chapel (located in Elmwood Cemetery) 2905 N. Thatcher Rd. River Grove, IL. Interment to follow after service. Due to Covid-19 restrictions everyone must wear masks at church and cemetery and practice social distancing.
