Dear George's family, I am very sorry for your loss. George, as you know, was a wonderful person to all -- students, staff, faculty, everyone. He will be missed dearly. Hope you are all doing well. I will always remember his warm smile, daily greetings, and hard-working spirit. He would never let anyone down. George, keep on rocking!

Dear George's family, I am so sorry for your loss. George had a huge caring heart, believed in values, always wished well to my family/kids, was always generous with colleagues - often treating us with food/sweets/lunches and frequently doing it anonymously...but we knew that it was him . And he had this radiating very genuone huge smile and such contagious laughter. He loved his family, always talked about all of you with great pride, especially his son - his greatest pride and joy. George was a great man who should have many more years....

Dear Homsy Family, It was so sad to hear this news. I worked with George for a number of years and we always called each other "Brother". I loved his wit, his bright mind, his love for his family and of course, his enormous generosity in all things. He will very much be a missed part of my life

My condolences to George's family. I remember George from our years working in the same department at Northwestern University as someone for whom I'd go out of my way to stop to say hello -- I never left his office without catching a long-lasting smile from George. Always, even when he wasn't feeling well. His devotion to his family and particularly to his son's path to success was apparent in everything he said or did. I'm grateful to have known him, and am smiling now recalling his humor and laughter.

My dearest Mary, Pierrot, Miriam and Gloria, to say my thoughts and prayers are with you is a true understatement. My heart feels your loss, but I am comforted by the memories that started in our childhood and continued to adulthood. Growing up together and sharing many fond memories are the true gifts and blessings anyone could ever have. George was the big brother to everyone at the Radwaneya. His smile was infectious and his "zarbouna" was endearing. He cared about everyone and was always there for everyone. He lived the true Christian example and passed that on to his precious son Joey. My friends, your family has always been very special to ours, and will continue to be for as long as we all live. I am sorry that George experienced pain in his earthly life, but he is now in the arms of the Angels and Saints where there is no tears and no pain. He will truly be missed. Love you all and pray that God will give you peace and strength at this difficult time. "If we live, we live for the Lord; and if we die, we die for the Lord. So, whether we live or die, we belong to the Lord." Rom 14:8

Dear Mary, my deepest condolences for you and Joseph. I was so shocked when I heard about George's illness and death from my Mom. I remember having a very nice conversation with him not long ago at Joyce's wedding. The few times we met he was so jovial, and always mentioned the fond memories he had of my dad. May he rest in peace.

Deepest condolences. May he rest in peace and may you have strength and solace. I have many memories of George, and in all of them he is laughing, joyous, passionate and affectionate -- and egging others on to join him. May his memory be for a blessing.

What a sad day for me and my entire family. We all knew our dear George and were always enchanted by his kindness and his friendliness to all who knew him. George was for us an examplery human being who was always eager to help others in their time of need. His jolly spirit and his contagious smile kept everyone happy. George suffered on Earth due to the cancer which had invaded his body, but he is now in a better place where there is no pain and no suffering. May his pure soul rest in eternal peace and may his family and friends find condolence in the memories of the good times we spent with him.
