I had the pleasure of meeting and visiting with your mom a couple of times. Ron, however, knew her better. She was very sweet with a wonderful sense of humor. Ron admired her for being direct and being the kind of woman who didn’t pull any punches. She will definitely be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Mariann as you begin to navigate your life without your loving mother.

Our Sister Jean...was an amazing person, with a unique personality, charm, and an incredible sense of humor. Our time together was unique and full of cherished and happy moments.  A beautiful, loving and caring person, who treated everyone with dignity and respect will be profoundly missed by her family and her friends and all those who cared about this special individual.  We are extremely grateful that we were able to share time with our Sister Jeannie during her remaining days. Being present and praying with Jean during her final sacramental rites is an experience that we value and will continue to treasure always.  Because Jeannie, a devout Catholic prayed the Holy Rosary daily, not only for us, but for all of her family and friends, we nicknamed her "Sister Mary Jean Lorraine," a title, which we believe she fondly accepted, relished and enjoyed.  Our hearts and our prayers go out to our niece Mariann, a devoted daughter and an inspiration to each of us. While dealing with personal medical issues, difficulties and struggles of her own she thoughtfully, relentlessly and unselfishly managed to care for her Mother. Mariann, we wish you peace and comfort as you grieve.  Please  know that we love you and we are here for you. GOD bless you today and always.  We will always appreciate and hold dear the love and happiness we have experienced and shared with our sister Jeannie, and continue to love those that we still have in our lives. Jeannie will live on in our memories; her spirit will not be forgotten...she is a part of us and will stay with us forever. Our Dad often said, "don't say goodbye, because goodbyes are forever, "just say so-long." Our sister Jean always ended our conversations with "I love you." So long Sister Mary Jean Lorraine...we love you. Marilyn and Bill Cavalier

I’ll always remember your mom’s welcoming smile and kind heart. Since the time I was little, she was always so nice to me anytime I would see her. No matter how old we are, there’s nothing else like the love our mother’s give us. Auntie Marno, you’re in my thoughts and prayers. I’m here for you like you’ve always been here for me, love you

Mariann there is nothing we can say to ease the pain of losing a mother. But we all shared her kindness and humor we had during our visits. Even up to the end she still had that smile when she told me I was a bad boy. We feel lucky to have had her as a friend and will truly miss her.

2nd x . . . Mrs. Sarysz, you will be missed here on earth but your life will continue through your daughter, family & friends, so you will still be here. I know how happy you are to be with Mike. I pray that you & him can be enjoying Heaven with my brother and my mom. Knowing that we will be there one day is the ONLY thing that will keep your Mariann & me going, but it still won't be the same xox

Mariann, my deepest condolences on your great loss. There is no bond like that between a mother and daughter. Although I never had the honor of meeting your mom, her beauty and countenance shine through you. No doubt you made her proud. Praying for your peace and comfort at this most difficult time. May your mother rest in the arms of our Lord. She now knows only perfect joy.

My heart felt condolences and prayers to you and your loving family. I. Loved talking to her and I always called her Momma G. Through our days she wrote to me and sent beautiful colored drawings she created. When I would ask her how she was doing she would say, Doing the best I can...then we would tell each other how much we loved each other. Momma G was loved by all, and touched so many lives. She was a loving little angel and she will always be remembered. Once in a lifetime someone comes into your life and affects you spiritually and deeply into your soul. Momma G was that person to me. I will always carry her memory and love within my soul. She was a little angel and I'm thankful she was a angel to me. I love you Momma G . .

Mar, I knew the time was coming from the messages that we shared, but it's still hard to believe. I am so sorry for you and your families loss. You mom was such a fun and loving person. I always enjoyed her visits to the firehouse. Her laughs and smile after the scaring and the jokes will always bein my memories. Just knowing that Ma or the Battle Axe was in the building made your day brighter. The fun we had when I got to call Bingo and she'd shoot me the looks from my little comments. I am definitely a better person for knowing her. I know how much she loved all of us, but especially you. We all knew how proud she was of you. May the happy memories of the past fill some of the voids that you feel right now. You are in our thoughts and prayers. I'm here if you need to talk! Love you, Ang!

Mar, Your mom was a treasure and will be missed beyond words. So many memories we’ll have to share with each other. She loved when we came over to play cards and always gave Cosmo a hard time and he loved every minute of the banter between them. The look on her face when I rode down the chair to see her was “priceless.” I knew when I left on Sunday, that God was waiting to bring her home but waited for us to say our good-byes. Losing a mom is one of the greatest losses in our lives. I was fortunate to have your mom as a 2nd mom to me. I lost a mom who didn’t give birth to me but was always there for me and will always be respected and remembered. I am thinking of you during this difficult time, and I am here for you whenever you need me. I hope that your memories of mom bring you peace, comfort and strength. I love you.

Dearest Marianne, I can remember your mom from the very first time that I met her and she looked like a princess. I could not have been more than 16 or 17 and I have her face in my mind to this day, She was wearing a long gown and she had her hair up in a fancy French twist and she was actually going to work at a upscale restaurant. Michael was very proud of her when he introduced her and very protective of her also. When our Michelle came into the world, your mother and you could not done enough for her. Michelle always knew that she was loved. I will always remember our holidays together and how we used to laugh and how Michelle would entertain us with her singing and other funny antics. Near the end of her life she still showed her love for Michelle and myself and she always stayed positive. She would encourage me to stay strong as I would complain but she did not for herself. I am so thrilled that I was able to see her at hospice and she still gave encouragement and said, “No more haircuts!” I told her that I gave haircuts in heaven and when I get there to meet her she will really be needing one bad!” We both laughed and she told me not to cry and to be strong. I love Gina and thank you for all of the love and the joy that gave to Michelle and myself for 51 years. You will always be missed and you will always be in my heart. ❤️

Mar wanted this to be read here: An email I sent her. Morning Marzee, When I got your text my heart fell. I knew it was coming but didn't want to accept it. You & your mom are fantastic people. My kids love both of you as you well know. Mom always brightens up a room & we love her sarcasms. Not to mention when Kevin & I used to scare her at the FD. She would chase & slap us for doing that. Mom's birthday cupcakes were always awesome. I wish I was closer to you guys to give you both a hug, which im sure is needed at this point. If you need anyone to talk to please don't hesitate to call I don't care if its 2 in the morning or 2 in the afternoon. My phone will always be on for you. We love you guys, Chester, Lora, Sammie, Ryan. xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo Had to email you this way too much to text,
