I just received a call from Kathy Geren-Kaderka with the news. I am so sad to hear of Jennifer's passing and I am also so sad, that I was never able to reconnect with her over the years. I tried to find her on Facebook many times but I did not know her married name. I think the last time I seen her, was when her mother passed away. When we were younger, I was dating Alan and Jennifer was like my little sister. I have so many good memories of her. The two things that always come to mind was her practicing the baton for school and her favorite song was you dropped a bomb on me". Every time I hear that song, I think about her. My thoughts and prayers go out to her family, she was beautiful and a wonderful person.

I have known Jennifer for most of her and my 22 yrs at the CTA. She has always been such a sweet person and a good friend. We worked as partners at the O'Hare Blue Line station for about a year, and she was a pleasure to work with. I will always remember her big bright smile and words of encouragement when I was going through a tough time. I will also remember the look she would give me when I would call her, Jenny, to mess around with her. Jennifer, you will be greatly missed by so many people!! Fly high in Heaven with the other angels!

I was shocked and saddened when I heard the news. Jennifer was my best childhood friend. She was the sister I never had. As an adult, I often thought of her and missed her. I often look back fondly and tell my boys of the things we did growing up. I will be saying lots of prayers for my dear sweat friend and her family. Jennifer...thanks for some wonderful childhood memories. I was truly blessed to have had you in my life.

I didn't know Jennifer well, but she was someone who touched my heart and I admired for her strength. She has been in my thoughts and prayers daily. To her boys, Michael and family...may you find peace in knowing she is no longer suffering. The loss of a loved one is forever life changing and a void beyond words. My condolences to you all...
