Beloved husband of Eleanor “Ellie” Gercone, nee Maggiore of 43 years; Devoted step-father of Thomas, Michael, Robert and the late George McMullin; Dear brother of Joyce Bruner, Michael Gercone, Patricia Hensel, Linda Czyz and the late Natal Gercone; Loving Papa of Ilene, Dana, Thomas, Matthew, Jack, Wilson, Michael, Robert, Toby and Anthony; Caring uncle to many and a dear friend to all. Joseph was a longtime member and photographer of CIACO, proud union member of the Carpenter’s Union Local 54. Joseph loved fishing and watching his beloved Blackhawks.
