Kelly Randel, age 26 of Elk Grove Village, beloved daughter of Jim and Karen (nee Fisher) Randel; adored sister of Joey (fiance Brittany Chance), mom to her crazy dog Rizzo (Frizz), dog sister to Theo, dog auntie to Simba; loving granddaughter of Marge and the late Bob Randel & the late Ross and the late Kay Fisher; dear niece of Patti (Ernie) Ciccone, Jim (Cary) Fisher, Ross Fisher, Bob (Dana) Randel Jr., John (Cindy) Randel, Pam Randel, Tom (Donna) Randel; dear cousin of Nicole (Rob) Alder, Johnny Ciccone (Allison Richter), Lauren Fisher, Haley Fisher, Nick Fisher, Chris Randel, Caitlin Randel, Kevin Randel, Alyssa Randel, Erica Randel and Miranda Randel.

Kelly was strong-willed, fun-loving and one-of-a-kind. Her laughter was contagious and she had a smile that would light up a room. Her trucker mouth and spunky personality never failed to make others around her laugh. Kelly enjoyed nothing more than spending time with her family and cuddling with her puppies. She was addicted to shopping with her mom and drinking Starbucks iced coffee with caramel drizzle.

Kelly graduated with honors from Concordia University. She left a job she loved at Pro Swim Academy to pursue her career. She began working at Canon which gave her meaning and enjoyment until the very end.

Despite Kelly’s own battle with breast cancer, she selflessly thought of others by creating Baskets for Breasties, a fundraiser that would give back to women newly diagnosed with breast cancer.

Kelly’s strength and determination shined throughout her life.

Jim, Karen and Joey, We are extremely saddened and heartbroken for your loss. Jim, it feels like yesterday that we were coaching our daughters in park district youth softball together. I have the fondest memories of those days. Jessica and Kelly became very close friends and Annette and I are grateful for that. Kelly would carry Cole around like little miss mommy when she spent the night on many occasions. Both you and Karen raised a beautiful sole inside and out. We will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers. Love you guys, Dave and Annette
