Lucille “Lou” Ann (Pinio) Piemonte was born November 10, 1936 to Salvatore “Sam” and
Carmella (LaPenna) Pinio in Chicago, Illinois. Lou was born in heaven March 9, 2021. She is
survived by three children; Nicholas (Jessica), Christopher (Sharon), and Mary Lou (Keith)
Savino. Lucille was the proud Nana of seven grandchildren; Jennifer, Mia, Christopher, Vince,
John, Natalie, and Gianna. One sister, Carol (Ralph) Giacobbe survives. Lou will always be
remembered as a fabulous cook and baker. That was one of her pride and joys to cook for the
family. The family would always look forward to coming back to Melrose Park for the Italian
Feast on 22 nd Street. Lou loved to dress up and go dancing or go out to the restaurant with
family and drink her one glass of Pinot Grigio. Flowers are always beautiful and appreciated but
also, In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Heart Association or your
favorite charity. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 13th at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Fond memories of Lou over the 18+ years since we came to live in the states. She will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Deepest condolences to all the family. Rest In Peace - I promise to remain a faithful friend to your beloved daughter, Mary Lou. Raising that one glass of Pinot Grigio in your honor x

My deepest condolences Cousin Nick, Chris and Mary Lou. She will truly be missed. I have many fond memories of her. She will always be in my heart. May God give you strength during this difficult time.
