Lucille T. Kurtz age 86, of Roselle (nee Schneider); Beloved wife of the late Edward; Devoted mother of Ed (Carolyn), Dan (Theresa) Kurtz, Mary (Mike) Benak and Kathy (John) Zopp; Devoted sister of Geraldine, Steve, the late Marie and Richard (Barb) Schneider; Proud grandmother of Keith (Caitlin), Kevin, Kyle and Brian (Marisol) Kurtz, Matthew (Samantha) and Christopher Benak, Katie (Walter) Hernandez, Shannon (Michael) Odahowski, and Trisha (Joe) Spata; great grandmother of Marcos, Viviana, Mia, Ayla, Emily, Charolette, Alexander, Colin, Liam, Eric and Jacob. Lucille was known as Luc to many friends and family. She was a small woman with a large heart who loved her family, her books, playing rummy, Peggy’s Cheesecake and most of all her ice cream. In Memory of Luc, go out and enjoy a big bowl of ice cream. She will be dearly missed by her family. Visitation Wednesday 9:00-11:00 a.m at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels 450 W. Lake St. Roselle, IL. 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd.) Mass will follow at 11:30 a.m. at St. Matthew Church, Glendale Heights. Interment Queen of Heaven Cemetery. Ed and family - Darrell and I send our deepest sympathies on the passing of your mom. Although we only met her at the wedding, we could tell how loved she was by her family. May she rest in peace! We have made a donation in her name to the Parkinson's Foundation.
