Margaret J. Sanford

Margaret (Peggy) Jane (Ingham) Sanford, 87, passed away peacefully on June 8th, 2021 in Winfield, IL. Peggy was born on November 18, 1933 in Dekalb, IL the youngest of three sisters (Sue and Monna). She was preceded in death by her husband Floyd W. Sanford whom she married on September 17, 1955. Together they raised four children and celebrated 60 years of marriage. Peggy was a devoted and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. She was a lover of all things Chicago, especially the Cubs, a registered nurse by trade and an unwavering friend whose door was always open for anyone in the neighborhood. She truly had the biggest heart for others. She did all the little things with out complaints and always with a smile. She was the epitome of kindness and will be missed by so many.
