I met Mary Ann and Kathy in H.S., and along w/another friend Mary, became fast friends, as teenage girls will do. I loved her warm Italian family who doted on her and her sister, and who treated me like a member of the family. Mary Ann showed me the beauty of sign language, and I learned so much from her! We lost touch a few years after high school, but I always hoped we would reconnect as the years went by; alas, it was not to be. Now she's gone, and I want to tell her sister Kathy and Mom that I will forever hold you all in my heart; Mary Ann will live on in our memories. You have my most heartfelt sympathies, and know that I shall never forget that sweet, beautiful, funny, and wonderful friend Mary Ann.

Of all the people to take, why such a sweet and kind person? Her mother and uncle need her so much. Why? Her cousins looked forward to her smile. Maryann wouldn't hurt a fly....a kind soul forever. Our prisons are full of murderers and rapists....why take Maryann? Can there be a benevolent God?

I was so sadden to hear about the passing away of Mary Ann. I often told her how Great she were with her Nephew Frank. She will call every day to keep him encouraged. She always had such a pleasant and warm greeting. My deepest condolences and prayers goes out to the family. And to all of the lives she touch.

I was so saddened to hear about the news. Mary Ann was such a wonderful, kind and sweet person! I will always have fond memories of her. She hired me as an ASL Interpreter for CPS over 17yrs ago. She always made sure i was taken care of and anytime I called the office she was a friendly voice, always inquiring how things were going, She enjoyed catching up on life and family since the last time she talked to you. She will truly be missed. The smile and warm heart she exuded will be cherished forever. Rest Well & Continue to brighten up heaven with your spirit!

Mary Ann was one of the sweetest person to work with during our years at A. G. Bell school. Rest in heaven Mary Ann. God give the family healing and peace as they lay their beloved down to rest. God bless.
