Mom, I think you would be proud to see how beautiful your wake was and how many wonderful people came out for you. The room smelled so amazing, it was full of flowers and beautiful plants in your memory. We had 17 pictures boards and a slide show going. Fran put together a great playlist. We had a delicious luncheon after at Venuttis. The food was amazing. Then family gathered at my house to share memories. Whole at my house we received a call that George had run away. If was odd because he hasn't been your dog for 4 years, but apparently Melanie had forgotten to change who his microchip was registered to. The police called us and we went to get him. We gave him lots of love until Melanie showed up. We choose to see it as your way of reaching out to us, saying your ok. If was the perfect ending to the day. We love you so very much, mom and will miss you daily❤️
