Nico Alessandro Novielli, nickname PoohBear, of Glendale Heights, Illinois, passed away on May 30, 2023, in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois. Nico was born at Alexian Brothers Hospital in Elk Grove Village, Illinois, to Lino Sr. and Kym (nee Cednick) Novielli on September 5, 1991. He attended and graduated from Glenbard East High School in Lombard, Illinois. Nico worked at Oakbrook Terrace Park District as part of their Parks Maintenance Crew. He married Jordyn (nee Kissee) Novielli on October 10, 2015, in Bartlett, Illinois. Nico is described by family and friends as being scary on the outside but a big teddy bear on the inside. He loved animals, the beaches, anything Fall related, guitars, and Slipknot. He was kind, caring, and someone who could always make you laugh. Nico is survived by his wife Jordyn Elaine Novielli; his children Kyndra Ann Novielli, 14, and Tayler Alexander Novielli, 2; his older brother Lino Novielli, Jr. and his wife Krysta Willard;
parents Lino Sr. and Kym Novielli; and his two nephews and three nieces. He is preceded in death by his grandfather Lester Francis Cednick, Sr.
Visitation will be Saturday, June 3, 2023, from 1 pm until time of service at 3:30 pm at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapel in Roselle, Illinois, with Rev. Wayne A. Dorsett officiating. Nico will be
cremated.
In lieu of flowers, memorials or donations may be given to Jordyn to cover Nico’s final expenses. There is also a GoFundMe campaign set up by Brandi Griswold (Jordyn’s sister) and
Lino Novielli.

Nico, son, I have no words and I am at such a loss. You've been part of this family for many years of your life. I trust in Our Lord that I will one day see you again, but I sure don't understand why you had to go. Watching you grow up was an honor, as I witnessed a young man so full of love for a woman with a daughter that you took on as your own before she was even born, and then went on to make her your own. That is a very special kind of man and father. I have always been so proud of you for that. You will be greatly missed and I will do whatever I can to help your family whenever they need me. In the meantime, fly on the Wings of the Angels and rest in the loving Arms of Our Lord, Jesus Christ. I love you son. "Ma"
