Loving father of Paul (Nicole) David III, Christina (Luigi) Pagliarulo, Edward (Anna Marie) David, Errick (Sara) Rodriguez, Carolyn (Michael) McQuillin, Deborah (Dennis) Gabriel, Lesley (Debbie) Rodriguez, Annette (Paul) Mascitti

Beloved Son of the late Anna and Paul A David Sr.
Dear brother to Joanne (Gary) Locigno, Marie David, Lucille (George) Skuteris, Anna Marie (Michael) Gentile
Dear uncle, cousin and friend of many.
Paul was born in Chicago, IL and grew up in Bellwood. He lived happily there surrounded by aunts, uncles and cousins, enjoying Sunday dinners and family gatherings. Some of the fondest memories that Paul spoke of were the fishing and camping trips he enjoyed with his big family in Eagle River, WI. Later in life, Paul enjoyed camping every weekend with his wife Ilia and their big family at Lake Ladonna and also enjoyed a memorable trip to Puerto Rico or Oregon here and there. Paul enjoyed golfing with his friends, cousins and with his sons. He was also a loyal White Sox fan and enjoyed going to games whenever he could. As a father and grandfather, Paul was sure to show support wherever he could, from baptisms and youth sports games, to graduations and college visits. His support and love was always present and generously shown to his family and friends. After 30 years of hard, dedicated work as a Manufacturing Engineer with Abbate Screw Products, he decided to retire. In retirement, he was able to enjoy a trip to Puerto Rico with his wife Ilia. Paul also became a member of the Bartlett United Pentecostal Church, pastored by Robert Boettcher and Assistant Pastor Paul Goff, who taught Paul how to study the Bible. Paul was baptized on July 24, 2015 and was a faithful servant in that church until the Lord called him home. When Paul contracted Covid-19, his body was already suffering from preexisting conditions, (heart disease, liver failure, kidney failure and liver cancer) which weakened his body enough so that he was not able to defeat the virus. Paul will be missed dearly. He was a kind, gentle and humble soul that has touched many lives and that is how he will always be remembered.

Our family was blessed to have a wonderful father like Paul. He was full of kindness, a listener to everyone, a patient man and loving husband. Your grandchildren will miss their grandpa immensely because it was during their visits with you, they were most memorable. Thank You, Dad, for being there in our lives. We will always remember our times together. You are forever in our hearts. We Love You. May you rest peacefully eternally at His hand. And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while, will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. 1 Peter 5:10 | NIV

To my loving father, you will be missed beyond words. I find comfort in knowing that you are in Heaven now and not suffering any longer. You were a strong man, I always looked to you for comfort and advice and you were always there when I needed you. Thank you for being my rock. Watch over all of us from Heaven. I love you with all of my heart. ~Chrissy
