My favorite memory of Rita is one I can’t really remember but is a story she retold often. My family came to Chicago (from Italy) when I was 3 years old. She and cousin Bob were already dating. Rita took me for a walk on our street (Leavitt) and I ran ahead of her, making her frantic. She didn’t speak Italian & I didn’t understand English yet! But it all worked out. I will miss her lively personality, her beautiful smile, and her contagious laugh. Linda
