Thomas (Tom, Moose, T-Bone, Pudge, Dadio, Grandpa Donuts) F. Stefanik, 74 passed away on December 30, 2024.  Beloved husband of the late Paulette “Pauli” Stefanik, nee Bianchi. Loving father of Michael (Catherine) Stefanik, Nicole (Roger) Leegard and Matthew (Missy) Stefanik. Cherished grandfather of Isaac, Nicklas, Emma, Audrey, Corinne, Emma and Ethan. Dear brother of Bruce (Linda) Stefanik, Sue (Dave) Fisher and Barb (Corey Matson) Stefanik. Fond uncle, cousin, friend, parishioner and union brother of many. Tom was a proud member of the Carpenters Local Union 1889 for over 50 years, and a highly skilled carpenter for Airtite Inc. for over 40 years.  He was a dedicated volunteer at the Starfish animal rescue in Geneva, among countless other charitable organizations that he passionately gave his time and generosity to. There was nothing he wouldn’t do for a friend, from helping them move, to carpentry work in their homes, fundraising for a good cause, dressing up as Santa in the local parade, or just stopping by to say “hello” and catching up for a bit. He genuinely loved to help others! Tom was the king of the one-liners! His quick wit and gentle sarcasm could always get a laugh out of you. He was always up for a meal out with friends and family, or drink and a game of bags at the Moose Lodge where he was a member for several years. Rest assured no matter what the occasion he would always come prepared with his “little bottles” that he happily shared with everyone. If there was a party…Tom was there. Some would say…Tom was the party. He spent countless weekends and birthdays dancing to his brother-in-law’s band with his bride of over 50 years. We are comforted in knowing that they are reunited on the dance floor once again in heaven and that the ultimate party has just begun. Our dear Tom, you have been such a huge part of our lives. Our memories of living on Black Willow, the abundance of laughs, the projects in which we helped each other, the support from you and Pauli during all of our difficult times and the love we have received from the two of you and all of our other friends on Black Willow cannot be replaced. You and Pauli remain in our hearts and we are better people to have known you and to have been in your life. Most definitely you will be missed as Pauli has been missed, but having you in our hearts is where you will keep us company. We love you dear friend, and pray your journey home is beautiful as you and Pauli have always been. God Bless you and your beautiful family.

Tom truly was the party, he had the loudest and most infectious laugh and greeted you with a bear hug and smile. My thoughts are with the Stefanik family

Tom was a great friend and co worker. He loved a good poker game and we all spent many nights contributing to the Tom Stefanik fund! He'll be missed.

You will be SO missed Pudge! Your smile, caring, and friendship meant the world to so many of us. May you rest in peace with Pauli at your side once again.
