Vito Falco
Beloved husband of Anna nee: Di Cosola; Devoted father of Sandy (James) Flowers, Joseph (Lynn) Falco, Rose (David) Melby and Michael (Larissa) Falco; Loving son of the late Giuseppe and Domenica Falco; Dear brother of Frank (Ruth) and the late Mary (Pat) Albertini and Jean (Rocky) Falco; Adored Nonno of Marissa, Stephanie (Peter), Juliana, Cecilia, Alexandra, Gabriella, Emma and Vito. Flowers or donations to the American Kidney Foundation.

Born in Ceglie del Campo Bari, Italy, Vito was the eldest of four children and helped his family escape Mussolini and the War. They relocated to Venezuela, where he quickly became the man of the house when his dad traveled to the United States to gain citizenship. After a few years, Vito moved with his family to the US to reunite with his father. This is where his life began in Chicago – a young entrepreneur who soon joined forces with his incredible wife, Anna, Vito’s life partner of 60 years. They raised a beautiful family while growing their business, Falco’s Pizza. His family soon grew to include 8 amazing grandchildren. Family was the most important part of Vito’s life and his biggest motivation for success. He was a very determined man with not only a phenomenal work ethic (and fashion sense), but also a passion for life that took him to all ends of the Earth. His unique perspective on design, engineering and architecture gave him the drive to craft grandeur projects, his most important, their family homes.

These facts are only a small part of what made Vito the amazing man, friend, husband, father, grandfather etc. that we all miss deeply. He is so much more than these words on the page – he lived his life to the absolute fullest and encouraged everyone around him to do the same. He was completely and authentically himself and his adventures and stories will be passed on for many generations to come. He will be dearly missed and most definitely never forgotten. May we celebrate him today and forever.
