William Puente

William James (Jim) Puente 48 Traveler of the World and lifelong resident of Illinois, went to be with his lord at 7:12 am January 29th 2018 after a long battle with cancer, surrounded by his family.
Jim is survived by his mother Irma Puente (Nieves), his beloved life partner Donald (Donnie) H. His siblings: Anthony Puente, Joseph and Darcy Puente, Tommy and Linda (Puente) Dills, Robert and Bridget Puente, David and Kristen Puente, Michael and Jennifer Puente.
His nieces and nephews: Elizabeth, Nick, Lauren, Lillee, Bobby, Katie, Jayme, Armani Lee. Great nieces: Olivia and Autumn.
He is preceded by Leon Puente Jr (Father) Darcy (Southworth) Puente (Sister in law).
Jim was born in Chicago on November 09th 1969 to Leon and Irma Puente.
His passion for aviation and travel was one of his many callings in life. His dream was to see the world and his drive to do that was to follow in his father and brothers footsteps and work for United Airlines. In 1999 he accomplished his goal and became a flight attendant for United Airlines. He enjoyed seeing the many different cultures the world offered. His love for music stands the test of time. His taste in fashion is like no other. Your heart was gigantic, your charm is only what a Puente could give. Your love was embracing. Your soul is eternal. For you personify what it means to be a “Puente”. He will be deeply missed by his friends family and all who knew him.
