Dear Franny, Dominick, Jessica and Michael and the rest of Yolanda’s family, We are so sorry to hear of Yolanda’s passing. We remember her as a warm and good hearted person who lived her life with passion. We hope that she found peace with those who have passed before her, especially with her loving mother, Madeline. So sorry to hear about the passing of my cousin Yolanda. We always called her baby Yolanda because my sister Yolanda Burkett was older. So when we were talking about the Yolanda's we knew who we were talking about. My heart goes out to her sister and her family. I will always remember the times during the Summer that we got to visit. We had a lot of laughs. I am sure she will be dearly missed. I wished I grew up closer so we could have kept in touch.. Sincerely, Carmella

My condolences to the family of Yolanda so very sorry to hear of her passing. Although none of you know me, your mother and her sister Frances grew up just a couple of doors south of us on Miller Street in our old Taylor Street neighborhood . Me and my younger sister (Terese Giovangelo Wyatt of Porter Ranch, CA) were kids together with Yolanda and Frances on the same block; I think there are a few photos in our family albums from the 1950s of Yolanda and Frances with my sister and me on Miller Street. We remember their dear mother Madeline quite well and their sweet grandparents who were just a few doors down from us in their little cottage with their garden. All lovely people. May Yolanda rest in peace and perpetual light shine upon her.
