Alexander Vincent Capraro, 69, peacefully passed into eternal life on January 26, 2019 with his loving family by his side. Alex is survived by his devoted wife of 45 and a half years, Susan, his children : Nichole (Raymond), Alexis (Dan), Ashely, and Vincent (Liz) his grandchildren : Allison, Talia, Giulio, soon to be expected baby boy, Emma & Addie, as well as, many nieces, nephews, cousins & friends who all loved Alex (AKA King Boss and Poppi) dearly.

Alex spent his early life serving in the US ARMY coming back in 1972 to Chicago where he met his beloved Susan, whom he married in 1973. Alex worked for Brach’s Candy Co. and stayed in manufacturing until 1986 when he went into Insurance. Lex continued to work in Insurance, forming his own business and advancing his career until his retirement.

Alex will forever and eternally be remembered by all who knew him as infinitely loving, exceedingly generous, hard working & humorous. His limitless smile and his “Baby Shark Dance,” being his immortal gift of joy. Alex will be greatly missed by all who knew him, but his family knows he is now at peace.

Sue, Nichole, Alexis, Vince and Allie. "Papa Lex" fought a long hard battle. Now he is pain free. His smile was infectious, and could light up any room.
