Anthony “Tony” Dan Alagna
Age 81, went to be with his Lord and Savior on August 2, 2018, surrounded by his family at home. Beloved husband for 60 years of Luana (née Neadeck). Loving father of Danette (Gavin) Barclay, Danny Alagna, Diane Biermann, Denise (Jerome) Borst. Cherished grandfather of Nick (Katie), Kevin, Matt (Maggie), Rachael Borst, Angela (Nicholas) Gouwens, Dan Barclay, Frank, Noelle Alagna, and Joe Biermann. Proud great-grandfather of Logan, Adelyn, Wyatt Borst, and Kylie and Jonathan Gouwens. Devoted son of the late Daniel V. and the late Rose Alagna. Loving brother of the late Diane (Joe) Matt. Special son-in-law to the late Arthur and the late Lucille Neadeck. Loved brother-in-law of Melvin and Nedra Grotz, Arthur and Nancy Neadeck, Joe Matt and the late Harold and the late Phyllis Stark. “Uncle Anthony” to Emilio (Susan) Matt, Anthony (Monique) Matt, Mike, Pat (Lou), Danny, Randy Stark, Colleen (Pat) Snyder, Jeff Grotz, and Angela Neadeck.

Tony was an U.S. Army veteran, avid bowler, golfer, and soft ball player. He was a lifelong White Sox and Arizona Cardinal football fan, drummer and story teller (Trackadormas of Glen Ellyn Road). Tony was a friend to many! He will be greatly missed and fondly remembered. What he enjoyed most was being with his wife, children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Although he faced many health challenges throughout his life, Tony was generous, optimistic, and a fighter to the end.

Funeral Monday 8:30 a.m. from Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake Street, Roselle, 60172 (3/4 mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Rd) to St Patrick Catholic Church, 6N491 Crane Road, St. Charles, Mass 10:00 a.m. Interment Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
