AURING MARQUEZ
Aurea P. Marquez (AURING) – a faithful child of God, a devoted daughter, a loving sister, a caring tita-tita (aunt) and an amazing Ninang (God mother) – went peacefully to be with the Lord on February 11, 2024 at home, lovingly surrounded by her family.
Aurea was born on July 19,1928 in Taysan, Batangas. She was daughter of Manuel B.Marquez and Juana P. Marquez. Aurea, the eldest of their children. Her siblings are Dr. Nick Marquez, Aurora M. Deleon, Ellen M. Castillo, Fred Marquez, Poling Marquez, and Nini Villanueva.
Per Filipino culture, the eldest child takes responsibility in the care of the family. Aurea took that role to heart and with such passion, took care of her younger brothers and sisters. Later on in life, such love and devotion she also gave to her nieces and nephews. Hence to this day, her siblings, nieces & nephews talk about the amazing love and care they received from ATE/TITA TITA/NINANG AURING.
Despite remaining single, she found fulfillment and contentment with the love of God and the unconditional love of her siblings, nieces, nephews, grandchildren and a multitude of relatives and friends.
Aurea’s love for God radiated through her every action and word, inspiring those around her with her unwavering faith, which served as a beacon of hope and strength for all who knew her. Aurea’s life was a great testament of God’s goodness. Her unshakable faith, utter dependence upon God and most especially, powerful daily declarations had set her apart and will always be remembered.
“I AM BLESSED, I AM HEALTHY, I AM STRONG, I AM HAPPY, I AM SUCCESSFUL, I AM A CHILD OF GOD!”

“ALL IS WELL”

“I LOVE YOU LORD,
I LOVE YOU JESUS,
WITHOUT YOU,
I AM NOTHING LORD.”

“THANK YOU. I LOVE YOU!”

She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith and selflessness that will continue to resonate within the hearts of all and inspire generations to come. Her memory will forever be cherished by all the lives she touched.
Her beautiful smile illuminated every room she entered, a reflection of the joy, happiness, peace and warmth she brought to those around her. Whether it was a small gesture or heartfelt word, Aurea’s thoughtfulness touched the hearts of all who knew her, leaving a lasting impression of love, compassion and peace which she found in Christ Jesus!
~Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. She who believes in Me, though she may die, she shall live.”
(John 11:25 | NKJV)
