Dear Mearl Can’t tell you how sad it makes me to hear of Barbara’s passing. Iam so so sorry please accept my deepest sympathy. I know how hard it is to lose your other half. I think often of the times we spent together in Florida and after the Air Force time. You , your family and Barb are in my prayers. Stay well dear friend. Much love Rita

Barb Murphy my mother in law, what can I say she was and will always be in my heart. My tears are filled with sadness but also with laughter,. I can not even begin to explain how Barb was not the traditional mother in law to me. She made it clear to me from the beginning the she was not my mom but, she was next in line for whatever I needed. I turned to her alot for how to understanding and deal with life. She was there to listen and to help me problem solve, sometimes I just needed her to get me back on the right track, which she was awesome at. Barb helped me with everything from raising Ashley (our daughter) to dealing with life. So, yes I will miss her deeply as my mother in law but mostly as my friend. I love you Barb
