My deepest condolences to the Laba family. My dad (George Zola) was a longtime friend of Bob, going back to Brighton Park, and served as best man at their wedding. My dad always enjoyed the opportunities to get together with Bob and Barb.

"Barb was such a sweetheart" were the first words Jim said when he heard the news. We both worked with her at Lake Park High School and cannot remember a time she did not have a smile on her face or a storying bragging about her family. Our hearts are sad and loving thoughts are being sent to her family. Such a lovely lady. She will be missed.

Barb and I have been friends for 40 years. She was like a sister to me. We would talk every day. We would laugh, cry, and tell each other stories. We would have dinner with each other every 2 weeks. I will miss her dearly. My heart is broken. I Love You Karen

Heaven has a very special Angel now. Barb will sorely be missed. She was a best friend to everyone. Everyone knows how she so loved bob, children ,grand children ,and her brother Ron. Trigger as well. She was a best friend to every one. She so appreciated when people would do things for her. She never took anything for granted. She was her grandchildrens best cheer leader encouraging them all the way. There are no words in the English language to describe our loss of barb on earth. May the most sacred heart of she Jesus greet you with open arms in heaven beautiful lady. Love ellen
