Carmella Notardonato, nee Di Nardi, age 83, of Bloomingdale, Il, passed away peacefully on May 6, 2025. Born on May 8, 1942, Carmella lived a life defined by strength, kindness, and unwavering devotion to those she held dear. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, known for her vibrant personality and her gift for making everyone feel welcome and loved.
Carmella was the heart of her family and a steady source of love and support. She found joy in the simple moments—and offered wisdom that left a lasting impact on all who knew her. Her love for family and God, reflected the values she held close throughout her life.
She is survived by her daughter, granddaughter, sisters and many nieces and nephews who will carry forward her legacy of compassion, humor, and quiet strength. She was preceded in death
by her husband Nicholas and son, Nicholas Jr.
A funeral service to honor Carmella’s life will be held on Saturday, May 10, 2025 at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels in Roselle. Friends and family are invited to attend and celebrate her memory.
Though she is no longer with us in body, the love Carmella gave so freely will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were blessed to know her.
