Dave Girardi, age 63, passed away December 3, 2023 with family and friends by his side.

Dave loved music his entire life. His teenage days in a rock band led him to starting a staging company for outdoor festivals, American Mobile Staging, which he and his business partner, Nick Serino, ran for almost 40 years. Dave was fascinated with Sasquatch and UFO chronicles and prided himself on being a pizza connoisseur. He loved traveling, outdoor adventures, his pond, and cooking.

Dave was the dearest husband of Ginny for 12 years, devoted father of Jessica and loving stepdad to Brandon Clancy. He adored his dog Annie who just loved going anywhere with him.

Dave is survived by this brothers Danny and Paul, and sister-in-law Melanee. He was a fond uncle to many nieces.

Dave was preceeded in death by his parents, Alice and Ezio, his brother Dennis, and his sisters, Lidia and Tammy.

To listen to Dave play guitar was simply beautiful. His love of music was immortalized in many songs he wrote for loved ones over the years. (He even had songs featured in the movie, The American Ghandi).

Long live the songwriter. You will be so deeply missed

Dear Dave, As I write these words, I am flooded with fantastic memories of our youth, woven together by the threads of friendship, music, and laughter. Our adventures, following the band from gig to gig, were like chapters in a story that I’ve happily revisited over the years. The music, the dancing, and the shared laughter created a soundtrack to our lives that will forever echo in my heart. I vividly remember watching you on stage, pouring your heart into every note. The energy, the passion — it was infectious. You didn't just play music; you painted emotions with sound, leaving an indelible mark on all of us who were fortunate enough to be part of those moments. Beyond the stage, we watched a friend grow into a remarkable individual, businessman, father and husband. You embraced these roles with the same dedication and enthusiasm that you brought to your music. The way you navigated the challenges, celebrated the victories, and cherished the joys of life leave an enduring legacy. I am grateful to have known you and shared the fun and passion of our youth. You led by example the pursuit of one's passions. Your spirit will continue to resonate in the laughter of our shared memories and the echoes of your music that linger in our hearts. May your family and friends be comforted by the love and purpose you brought to so many lives. Rest in peace, dear friend. Your music will forever play in our hearts. Dee
