Merrily, Brian, Jay and family....what words can I say that can possibly begin to tell you about how deeply sorry I am for the loss of Dave. He was such an amazing person in every aspect. He was truly a man of faith who lived by what he believed. He was a true peace maker. I cannot ever recall a harsh word about anything coming from him - only good sound advice. Dave was my confirmation leader. Dave was my partner on Church Council for a number of years. Dave and Merrily, along with the boys and without, were in church every Sunday. You all know what an amazing man he was; you were blessed to call him husband, dad, grandpa, son, brother. I was lucky to call him friend. I am, and I am sure many can say this, a better individual for having known Dave. May memories sustain you through your grief. May, knowing Dave's deep belief in faith, be comforting to know he is experiencing everlasting light. May God give peace, comfort and strength for all the days ahead. I remember Dave with great fondness, and I am so sad to hear that he has left us so early. Dave is a very good person, who always had a friendly smile or something funny or nice to say.
