In Loving Memory of Dino Paul Yario,
Dino Paul Yario, a loving father, dedicated son, and cherished friend, passed away on October 23rd, 2023, at his home in Poplar Grove, Illinois, at the age of 53, surrounded by the unwavering love of his family. Dino Yario departed this world after a prolonged battle against the odds. His journey was a testament to extraordinary resilience and unyielding courage in the face of an unrelenting adversary. Dino’s journey was marked by a fierce determination to make the most of his time, even when faced with the most challenging circumstances. Upon receiving the heartbreaking news that he had only weeks to live, Dino had one unwavering wish – to witness his beloved son, Dino Jr., play football and be by his side to celebrate his 17th birthday. In a testament to his enduring spirit, he not only made this wish come true but also imparted invaluable life lessons on resilience and love. Dino was a man known for his indomitable spirit, a true fighter in every sense of the word. He battled cancer with a strength that inspired everyone around him. Beyond his valiant struggle, he was a man of many interests. Golf was a passion that brought him solace and joy, and he relished every moment spent on the golf course. His mischievous sense of humor made him one of the biggest jokesters anyone could ever encounter, and his laughter was infectious to those who were fortunate enough to share in his company. Dino was a pillar of unwavering support for his family and friends. He possessed a heart that overflowed with generosity and a willingness to do anything to bring smiles and comfort to those he held dear. He was the life of every gathering, the one who could light up a room with his presence and bring joy to any occasion. Above all else, Dino’s greatest love was reserved for his son, Dino Jr. Their bond was a testament to the depth of his love and devotion as a father. He leaves behind a legacy of strength, love, and unforgettable moments shared with his son. Dino is survived by his loving parents, James and Margaret Yario, his sister, Wendy, his brothers Michael (sister-in-law Rebecca) and Joseph, and his nieces and nephews, Andrea, Cali, Michael Jr., Angelo, Sara, Ava and Gracie. He joins his late brother, James Yario and late brother-in-law Mark Baker in eternal rest. His memory will forever be cherished by his beloved son, Dino Jr., who carries with him the lessons of resilience, love, and unwavering commitment that his father demonstrated throughout his life. Dino Yario’s impact on those who knew him was immeasurable, and his memory will live on in the hearts of all who had the privilege of knowing this remarkable man. Though he has left this earthly realm, his spirit endures in the love and laughter he brought to the lives of so many. May he rest in peace, knowing that his legacy of strength and love lives on in the hearts of those he leaves behind.

Lil D, Marge, Jim, Mike, Joey, and Wendy there are no words to express how sorry I am for your loss. My life will never be the same because I met Dino. He made me a truly better person. He was the most fun to hang around. Best golf partner. Great fishing buddy! He was my brother in every way imaginable. I looked at him like the older brother I never had.

We fought all the time but only for one reason, to get the other to bring his best to whatever we were doing. We were a great team, we were winners, we were business partners, we were partners in crime too. We played everything and anything together from the first time I met you if you weren’t cheating you weren’t trying, You were my older brother and will Always be the only older brother I’ll ever have. You could count on me always and you always were first to pay for me and were always so generous, you taught me a lot of things pal, especially when it came to how to grow grass , how to roll it and how to take and how to take a divot out of it and how you could choose the club I did it with better than I could. You challenged me always, more than just anthletic abilities., you challenged me and taught me to be honest about everything, called me on my bull and gave me credit when it was due, and most of all challenged my patience I made you a lot of promises that you know I will be proud to keep forever and until we meet again on the great big course in the sky, I’ll be looking out for Dino Jr, and making sure he’s with me on one down here listening to all the lessons you taught me. I will miss you everyday buddy. Every single day.

I was blessed with friendship since our early high school years where Dino and I became very close. I am so fond of the many forever memories we have together. Losing Dino is tragic to all of us, and I wish his family the warmest thoughts and prayers. His humor, attitude, demeanor, and personality were both unique and one of a kind. He made me a better person and I will truly miss you, Dino.
