Heller; devoted mother of Walter Jr. (Karen), James (Ann), and Sharon (Jeff) Bandel; dear grandmother of Robbie, Justin, Melissa (Andrew) and James II (Abby) Heller, Stephanie (Leann) and Jimi Bandel; great-grandmother of Emily and Kyla Jade Bandel and future great-grandchild, Lily May Heller. Funeral Tuesday, 9:30 a.m with a chapel service at 10:30 a.m. at Salerno’s Rosedale Chapels, 450 W. Lake St. (¾ mile west of Bloomingdale/Roselle Road), Roselle. Interment Oakridge Cemetery. Visitation Monday, 3 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations to the Alzheimer’s Association and Alexian Brothers Hospice appreciated. For information, 630-889-1700.

While I know what a loss Dee's death is to her family, I'm grateful that she is now at peace and reunited with Wally. I will always treasure the times she and I had together. I send my sympathy to her family - especially to her dear Sharron who was by her side throughout her battle with that horrible disease.
