My Dear Friend Mr. Ed: My oldest friend- I will miss your smiling face and that grin which I always thought, "What is he up to now?" It would always be fun & exciting! It is hard to say so long to someone I have known for 64 years! Living directly across the alley from each other-you on Palmer & me on Lyndale.; 8 years of Grade school & 4 years of high school. You were the leader of the pack & I was proud to be your 'Wing Man'! I am glad we went to the 50 year Schurz reunion September 2022. You slid down that stairway banister & I was concerned you would toss & tumble. But you didn't!!. It is recorded on your phone! Always Excitement! I am glad we always kept in touch for these 60+ years! God Bless you Ed on your journey. I love you Ed! A piece of my youth has left me since you have left us! Keep the bar open up there! I can hear you now with one of your favorite phrase at the bar; "Lets have just one more!! Your smile & personality has already made heaven a brighter place!!
