I didn’t work with Eli every day but I worked with him. This distance gave me a unique view. Eli was the bright spot of any room he walked into. His smile and playful voice could cut right through tension. He was a good man and he made us better by proximity.

I feel lucky to have had the chance to work side by side with Eli on many business travels. He was a great tutor and an excellent companion, with an always ready smile and positive attitude that cheered up anyone around him. Wherever he went he was received as a friend rather than a sales professional - and he was both. He will be dearly missed, my thoughts and prayers are with his family.

The Jung family has had the privilege to be a part of the Caliva family circle for many years. Spending time with Eli was one of the highlights of our visits as he regaled us with stories, jokes, wisdom and advice. His personality was one of a kind. A loving, generous, joyous man who went out of his way to ensure everyone around him was cared for and happy. He will forever remain in our hearts and we will miss him dearly. Our condolences to the family. We know his spirit will be with us eternally and the impact he made in our lives will last forever.

I have known Eli for the past 12 years and have worked and traveled with him many of those years. He always upbeat and positive with a smile on his face. Family was at the top of his priorities and he was very proud of his son and daughter, sharing stories with me. He taught me to open up a bit and get to know people on a more personal basis. I will miss him dearly. God rest his soul and peace to his family and friends. Those that knew Eli knew he enjoyed life and that puts a smile on my face just thinking about that. Ray Harris

So sad to hear of Eli’s passing. I worked with him in Arlington Hts for many years. Eli was always so much fun to work and play golf with. Will always remember that he was such a good golfer. So many fond memories. Eli was a very special person and will be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to Eli’s family during this difficult time. Think I will go play golf today in Eli’s honor. Eli was an amazing man and will be missed. I had the honor to have known and worked with him for 5 years and we have lost touch over the past 3 years but I will always hold him in the highest regard. He was always so proud of his family and such a positive influence. Rest In Peace Eli. Prayers, love, and support to his family!
