When we entered my grandfather's house we were always hugged, kissed and reminded of how much we were loved.. looking back at the memories from my childhood starts when my grandfather use to pick me up and sit me down on the washing machine to feed me his homemade mashed potatoes with butter and some scattered corn .. in my 20s I had taken him to many of his doctors appointments and remember him telling my dad about my "lead foot".. Thanksgiving 2017 my dad had told me "please let your grandma rest, and please feed your grandpa." As I started to feed my grandfather mashed potatoes I slowly realized he had done it for me when I was younger .. I told my dad "my grandpa use to feed me when I was little and so now it's my turn to feed him." The memories don't end here .. they just replay like a song on repeat. Thank you for all the beautiful memories, all the love, and thank you for being a blessing in my life .. I love you .. rest in peace Abuelito mí Angelito..

My deepest, sincerest condolences to the Aguirre family in this time of sorrow. My thoughts are with you all. I am a co-worker and good friend of Rick's and I know how much his Dad was loved and cherished by his family. God Bless....

Dear Aguirre Family, I am sorry for your loss . Tio Fernando was beloved by my grandmother Olga and he was a great source of comfort for me at my grandmother's Olga funeral. Sitting next to him and listening to his life experiences made me smile. He eased my sadness and it was very special spending time talking to him. Even though I did not get to spend much time with him, I know how special he was and will always be to our family. May you find comfort in the love that he shared with all of us. We will always keep him in our hearts. We extend our deepest condolences to you all.
