It is with profound sadness that we share the passing of our beloved father, Giovanni Camposeo, who left us on the morning of February 17th at the age of 95. He was a man of immense humor and wisdom, who cherished every moment spent with his family. He is survived by his son, Vito Camposeo, his daughter, Gina (Bob) Lindsay, grandchildren Mariella and Michael (Ashley Gates) and great granddaughter Mia. We will all continue to honor his legacy by living our lives to the fullest. His absence leaves a void in our hearts that could never be replaced. To commemorate his remarkable life and the memories we cherish, a service will be held at Salernos Funeral Home in Roselle on Monday, February 24th from 8:30-10:00 am. We welcome all who knew and cherished him to join us in celebrating the life of a man who was loved deeply and will be missed.

Le doy gracias a Dios por haberlo visitado hace 6 anos atras y pudo hablar y abrazarlo. Ahora descansa en paz tio amado. Saludos a mi madre y a la tia Maria cuando los seas. Te quiero mucho. To all those who knew and loved my Uncle Giovanni (a/k/a Zio Johnny), please accept my heartfelt condolences. I am so deeply sorry for your loss. When I was a kid, I used to spend a couple weeks a year with my Zio Johnny and Zia Maria when they lived in Melrose Park, and the Italian Feast was going on. I have such fond memories of my time with them and with my cousins Vito and Gina. So many laughs and good times. I will cherish those beautiful, summer days forever. Rest in peace Zio.
