Gregory A. Rembiszewski, beloved husband of Stefanie, devoted father to Greg (fiancé
Ivy), Jeff (fiancé Lynn), Amy, Gabrielle (Geoff) and Nathaniel, loving son to the late
Maximilian and Mildred, dear brother to Maxine (the late Jerry), Marcianne and (the late)
James. Cherished grandfather of Daniel (Kelli), Lauren, Sara, Katie, Alex, Kaitlyn, Ryan and
great grandfather of Kali and Kai. He is dear uncle to many nieces and nephews.

Greg was born on December 30, 1949 and raised in Chicago, IL. He married his
high school sweetheart Barb in Dec 1968 and started their family with sons Greg
and Jeff in the city of Chicago, where Greg enjoyed working on stock cars and
racing at the Santa Fe Speedway. In 1980, Greg married his second wife Rose and
they brought their beautiful daughter Amy, whom he loved, into the world.
Greg had a wonderful sense of humor as he would tell people his first job was an
eyelid closer in a sardine factory. He had an affinity for technology, making a
career working for Motorola, Searle and IBM. In 1995, Greg met his true soul
mate Stefanie when the electrical tower next to their townhomes caught on fire.
Their relationship grew through their love for each other, the music they shared
and their love for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. They married in 2001 and
moved to Bloomingdale IL where Greg started his own computer networking and
repair business and became the comPuterNerd beloved by all his customers.
Greg spent his later years as Worship and Music leader at several churches and
enjoyed watching and occasionally driving NASCAR motorsports as well as video
iRacing. Greg dearly loved each and every one of his family and will be greatly
missed by all.

Greg was a master at his talent. He acted as if a surgeon with my computer, I was amazed watching him work his magic. When he was finished, he would try his best to explain to a novice like me what he just did. Even if I didn't fully digest, he still made me feel important. I hope there is Nascar in heaven.

I met Greg when my son was taking violin lessons from Stephanie. He became a trusted contact for my computer needs and kept my ancient Dell laptop running long beyond its natural life. He was unfailingly kind, polite, and knowledgeable. Loved how he would end our calls, "Bye for now." I think that's fitting in this situation as well. I know he has gone to meet Jesus face to face. So we will see him again. "Bye for now, Greg."
