I am sadden to hear about JL's passing. She was such a kind-hearted person and made such a positive impact on so many lives. I have fond memories of playing for her on EP softball teams and having her as a friend and mentor. Being a teacher is a tough job, JL did it with grace and integrity always treating her students with respect and kindness. Please accept my sincerest condolences.

Dear Coach Binder and family. So sorry to hear of Jody's passing. She was an outstanding person and gym teacher. Remember her fondly during/after Michael Hiera's years at Elmwood Park High School. You and your family are in our thoughts and prayers as you go through these difficult times.

Our hearts are saddened with this news. Jody was one of a kind. We loved being around her and Pete during Ben and Bobby's days at W&L. We knew that our families were a match when both Kay and Jody each showed up with a bucket of cleaning tools when Bobby and Ben arrived on campus. Two focused Moms! Our path in life was immeasurably changed for the better by her smile, her laughter and her friendship. We will miss her. Love to Pete, Bobby and Brett.

We were so saddened to learn that Jody lost her long, courageous battle. Jody was a wonderful person, teacher, AD and coach and truly an inspiration to us all. She so positively affected the lives of so many students, athletes and anyone who knew her. We’ll miss our dear friend. Though we regrettably are unable to make the trip to IL, please know Pete, Brett, Bob and family, you are very much in our hearts, thoughts and prayers.

. What a gal, she stood so much taller than her physical appearance, strong, self assured, and her smile, well Pete knows. God bless you Jodie as well as your family and those that held you close. Your memory in the lore of the EP halls. Your bus driver
