So sorry to hear of the passing of Josephine. I was in the The Purple Passion Flowers group with her. We had gone on a couple of Bloomingdale Township together and always had a nice time. Joyce Rupp (Red Hat Lady Narcussis).

Jeff, I never knew of all your mom’s accomplishments in her long life! I had no idea that she worked at Motorola and met your dad there! And now you are there, following in their footsteps. What a legacy you have all left for your children! I so admired Josie! I loved talking to her on the phone numerous times while she was in the house you grew up in and later visiting her at the care center she was living at in her later years. She was always so happy to have me pop in. I cried when we last saw each other. She was ready to move on beyond this life. I told her how sad I would be to see her go. But she said it was time. She told me not to be sad. I will never forget that day. She will always have a special place in my heart. I know the Good Lord is taking very good care of her and feel comforted that she and your Dad are holding each other in their arms again. I hope my own parents are there welcoming her to heaven as well. Jeff and kids … you all should be very proud of the time spent taking care of Josie all these years. They weren’t always easy … but you did what she definitely would have done for you! Heartfelt sympathy to all of you!
